Book Release Event: "Long Shadows", a collective memoir by Madison Vets for Peace

Rainbow Bookstore Cooperative invites you to celebrate the release of this important testimony and collectie memoir by Madison peace veterans. Join Editor David Giffey, Linda Babler, and a number of contributors to the book, Long Shadows: Veterans Paths to Peace, for an evening of readings, remembrance, and camaraderie. This project by members of the Clarence Kailin Chapter of Veterans for Peace brings together nineteen remarkable interviews that share stories of those who served, and the paths they took to peace, spanning the years from the Spanish Civil War through Vietnam to Iraq.
