Next Meeting of Truth and Alternatives to Militarism in Education (TAME)

TAME is involved in working to strengthen or develop policies and practices to limit access by military recruiters to area high schools, and to repeal the No Child Left Behind Act provisions which mandate that in order for our schools to receive federal funds, military recruiters must get access to high schools that is equivalent to that accorded other employers, even though other employers do not require unbreakable 8-year contracts, complete subservience to authority, sacrifice of most of one's constitutional rights, and a high risk of either killing others or being killed. Get involved in educating others about their right to "opt out".
